Committees & Members
Constitution of Committees
The Board shall have following committees for effective implementation of the provisions for this bye-law, namely-
- Affiliation Committee;
- Curriculum/Academic committee(s) separately for each branch in the domain area
- Examination and Results Committee;
- Any other ad-hoc committee for specific functions of the Board
The (1) (2) and (3) are the standing committees with Secretary/Principal Executive of the Board as Chairman of the Committee and other four Expert members to be nominated by the Board on the committee and (4) shall be ad-hoc committee.
- Affiliation Committee
- The Affiliation Committee shall, in accordance with Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda-Sanskrit Shiksha Board Manual of Rules, consist of:
- The Secretary of the Board shall be the Chairman of the Committee;
- Four Educationists nominated by the Board by giving due weightage to various regions and NER;
- One Traditional Veda Pandit nominated by the Board
- One member nominated by the Controlling Authority.
- The Affiliation in-charge officer/DD(Academic) of the Board shall be the Convenor of the Committee.
- The Affiliation Committee shall exercise powers in accordance with the provisions contained in these bye-laws and also any other concerned/allied/relevant special duty assigned by the Board in public interest.
- The Affiliation Committee shall be competent to delegate its powers to the various officers of the Board for day to day function in connection with all matters related to the application of these Bye-laws.
- The Affiliation Committee shall advise the Board in all matters related to the application of these bye-laws and in the matter of affiliation.
- The Affiliation Committee may advice the Board if any change in the Bye-laws of affiliation are required. If such advice is made by the Committee, the Board shall consider the matter within six months. However, the advice of the Board are not binding upon the Board.
- The Affiliation Committee shall, in accordance with Maharshi Sandipani Rashtriya Veda-Sanskrit Shiksha Board Manual of Rules, consist of:
